Engage Individually

Your individual action makes a difference and helps families find the comforts of home.

Help out once. Help out weekly. Choose the best way to lend your time and talents to families in need.

Make a difference to families through fun, meaningful initiatives that share our mission.

Make an immediate donation, or donate items that make a financial impact.

Melissa Trash pickup: A Team Volunteer helping pick up trash outside.
Janice e Bingo Cart: A Special Interest volunteer with the RMHC bingo night cart and supplies
A community group stops by during the holidays to donate items for the Comfort & Joy drive

Corporate Meal Group: A megaBITES corporate meal group serving lunch to families.

What It Means to Engage

Families with critically ill children are going through some of the hardest moments of their lives. By helping us keep our programs running smoothly, hosting in-kind drives or fundraisers, and spreading the word, you make it possible for families to keep their focus on their children.

New to RMHC Bay Area Volunteering?

Community Engagement Sessions are held throughout the year, both virtually and in-person at our regional headquarters in Palo Alto. It’s a great way to meet our volunteer team and learn about our mission, greatest needs, and current engagement opportunities.
