Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bay Area helps children and families in our local community by providing stability and resources for three core programs – Ronald McDonald Houses in Palo Alto and San Francisco, Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles in Contra Costa and Santa Clara counties, and our scholarship program that supports students pursuing higher education.
Ronald McDonald Houses keep families with children receiving treatment for life-threatening illnesses at local hospitals close to the care and love they need to heal. Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles provide mobile dental care to children. RMHCBA scholarship programs offer students a financial assistance toward higher education.
Your gift to RMHCBA allows us to continue these valuable efforts that uplift families and bring comfort and encouragement to people when they most need it. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, gifts to RMHCBA are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Please consult with your tax advisor.
"As a McDonald's owner I was always proud of the work Ronald McDonald Houses did but it was not until I became a parent of a child who needed cardiac surgery that I truly understood the value of a kind word, a hot meal, a shower, clean clothes and a pillow. The houses help people weather some of the worst days of their lives and I continue to be amazed at the generosity of McDonald's, the owner/operators and the community at large in helping to meet these needs. As our charity has grown, the addition of dental Care Mobiles has offered the same type of hope and care to families who might otherwise not be able to get their children the dental care they need and deserve. I have also watched the joyful pride of parents as their children received a RMHCBA scholarship. Being associated with these wonderful programs makes me very proud and it is why I have offered my support as a board member for over 25 years."
