Teen Advisory Council

The Teen Advisory Council (TAC) is a group of determined high school juniors and seniors with the collective goal to empower the mission of the House through service and mission promotion to the local community. The pillars of the group are Leadership, Advocacy, Fundraising, and Community Awareness. Members are selected to serve as stewards and advancers of Roald McDonald House Charities Bay Area. Members will gain leadership, fundraising, professional, and personal development experience. Additionally, members will serve as ambassadors in area schools and the community.

The Teen Advisory Council shall be comprised of junior and senior students (16 years old or older) from local high schools, including home schools. Students will be chosen based on their character and prior leadership and service experience by RMHC Bay Area staff leaders. Application materials and interviews will be used to select TAC members. Returning members are not guaranteed membership on future boards.

Learn About Our Cause

Keeping families together and near the medical care they need

With the help of the Bay Area community, Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area helps ease the financial and emotional burdens that families face as they access critical care for their children. Our Ronald McDonald programs operate nearby and onsite at our partner hospitals, offering long- and short-term housing, daily meal support, and 24/7 support psychosocial support services, such as child enrichment and sibling care, family activities and recreation, and more. Additionally, we provide underserved children in the Bay Area with access to oral health care services through our Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles in Santa Clara and Contra Costa Counties.
