A Day of Hiking, Community, and Heartfelt Support

This past weekend, the Ruby Hill community donned their bright yellow Team RMHC shirts and transformed Pleasanton Ridge into a vibrant sea of support for Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area (RMHC Bay Area). Over 90+ hikers gathered for the Ruby Hill Hike-for-a-Cause, a spirited event that not only celebrated the joy of hiking but also the power of a neighborhood community coming together for families with critically ill children.

The sight of so many dedicated individuals united in purpose was truly uplifting. The hike through Pleasanton Ridge offered not only breathtaking views but also a sense of accomplishment as everyone rallied together to support.

A special highlight of the day was the announcement that the Ruby Hill community had surpassed their fundraising goal of $10,000, which will cover over 80 days of overnight stays and support for families traveling to the Bay Area for pediatric medical care. This remarkable achievement is a wonderful example of the generosity and dedication of everyone involved.
