Organize a team to collect wish list items and volunteer for critically ill children & their families
Comfort & Joy is our biggest donation drive of the year
Rally your friends, families, co-workers, customers, and community to collect toys, basic need items, and household goods to make holidays away from home a little easier for sick children and their families.
Ways to participate
- Purchase wish list items and send them directly to our regional location. Staff and volunteers will wrap and distribute gifts and stock basic need items across our locations.
- Organize a Comfort & Joy wrapping party
- Ask your group to bring wish list items and get creative by wrapping items for families
- NOTE: since families will need to know what item is inside, please wrap each item individually and snap a picture of the item to attach to the present
- Add a personal touch by including a holiday wishes
- Take pictures and tag us on social media @RMHCBayArea #ComfortAndJoy
- Contact us to organize a drop-off for wrapped presents
- Let us do the shopping for you! If you’ve already got a million things going on, you can donate gift cards for stores like Target, Walmart, and Safeway for families and/or make a direct donation online: www.rmhcbayarea.org/donate.
