Donate today, and take the Sobrato Family Foundation Challenge

RMHC Bay Area is thrilled to announce that the Trustees of the Sobrato Family Foundation have approved a challenge grant of up to $200,000 to support sick kids and their families. Our current challenge grant begins on September 1, 2021 and ends on August 31, 2022.

What’s a challenge grant?

A Challenge Grant is a grant that is contingent upon new or increased cash funds being raised and received from individuals, corporations, foundations during a specified time period. Our current challenge grant period commenced on September 1, 2021 and will end on August 31, 2022.

Specifically:

• A cash gift from a first-time donor to RMHC Bay Area will be matched 100%
• A cash gift from any donor who has not made a donation in 12+ months will be matched 100%
• A cash gift from a donor who increases their most recent gift will see the increased portion of their giving matched by 100% (e.g., if donor gave $500 last year and gives $750 this year, then $250 is the eligible amount toward the match)
