In 2020 Veritas and partnerships like theirs provided 1,000 nights of alternative housing. On top of that Veritas and Apartment List held their annual holiday party at the end of the year and matched all employee donations to RMHC Bay Area. Their matching gifts made a serious impact on families like the Shahs.
Many companies offer a matching gift program to support the philanthropic efforts of their employees. Some companies will also match gifts made by their retirees or employees’ spouses. In addition, some companies offer dollars-for-doers or volunteer grant programs that provide financial donations to the charitable organizations where their employees volunteer.
By completing a matching gift or volunteer grant form, you may be able to increase the impact of your gift of time or money and provide even more families of children with complex medical needs a place to stay while their children receive treatment.
