When you donate your old vehicle to RMHC Bay Area you are supporting hundreds of families with sick children who undergo specialized medical treatment. We’ll pick up your vehicle at no charge and steer you through the paperwork. Donations of vehicles in any condition are accepted.

Cars, SUVs, ATVs, heavy machinery, trucks, RVs, classic cars, ATV tractors, boats, vans, motorcycles, semi/cargo trucks, and more!
How it works:
Step 1 — Tell us about your vehicle: Fill out our quick online form or call 855-CARS-HELP (227-7435). Running or not, in any condition — as long as it’s towable and has an engine, we can likely take it.
Step 2 — Free pickup, scheduled for you: Our vehicle donation partner, CARS, arranges a licensed tow company to come to you, often scheduled on that same first call, always at no cost. No smog check, inspection, or safety certificate required.
Step 3 — Your gift becomes family support: CARS sells the vehicle and sends the proceeds to Ronald McDonald House Bay Area, usually within a few weeks. You’ll receive a donation receipt at pickup and a thank-you letter afterward that serves as your tax record.
