Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Willie Hernandez

Photo of Willie Hernandez on the left side. There is a quote on the the right which reads "“The mission of RMHC resonates with me on a deeply personal level. I grew up in a family of farmworkers in the Central Valley — the same community where so many of the families we serve at the Ronald McDonald House are from. The housing and services we provide make it possible for families to access the best medical care in the Bay Area.”

– Willie Hernandez, Board of Directors, RMHC Bay Area

Coca-Cola Company International General, Willie Hernandez, joined RMHC Bay Area Board of Directors in 2022. He deeply resonates with our mission to be there for sick kids and their families, providing comfort and support when and where they need it most. Did You Know, that over 20 percent of RMHC Bay Area families live in a rural agricultural community designated “medically underserved” by the Health Resources and Services Administration.

Willies’s ties to the #CentralValley and his dedication to advancing the success of underserved children add invaluable leadership experience and perspective to our board to further our mission of #KeepingFamiliesClose in medical crisis.
