26 Sep A day to remember! RMHC Bay Area Golf Invitational & Music on the Patio
Wow! We’re still reeling from the 39th Annual RMHC Bay Area Golf Invitational and Music on the Patio reception. The energy, generosity, and poignant moments were on full display all day long. We look forward to this day every year, and it’s one we rely on to continue making a meaningful impact in the lives of the families we serve. We’re proud to say this year’s events were a true success — and not to mention so much fun!
The day started at the prestigious Stanford Golf Course. We had so many wonderful and gracious supporters and sponsors. After a fantastic day on the green, we kept the momentum going with Music on the Patio at the stunning Rosewood Sand Hill.
It was an unforgettable night filled with live music, delicious food, and a deeply moving message from our family speaker, the Medina Flores Family. The tissues were out as they shared their son’s journey and showed what a difference RMHC makes for families.
You can watch the moving moment here:
We’re thrilled to announce that we raised over $670,000, all of which will directly support families just like the Medina-Flores.
Special thank you to The Sobrato Organization’s generous $25,000 matching challenge gift from our Friend-a-Family program.
And we can’t forget and must thank our amazing emcee, NBC Bay Area Anchor Marcus Washington, for bringing the energy and making the evening unforgettable.
The talented Friction Quartet brought a delightful atmosphere to the program by playing a delightful selection of world-class music without the hassle of a commute!
