Financial Donations

Help us help even more families in need.

Since we opened our doors in 1979, more and more families come to our House seeking a safe home-away-from-home while their child receives medical care in our community. Our mission is deeply rooted in our desire to provide support to families who are facing medical crises and help more children stay close to the ones they love throughout their treatment and recovery.

But we can't do it without you, so we're asking you to get involved. There are many ways for you to join us in providing stability and vital resources to children in need. Here are some ways you can help:

Cash and Online Donations

Make an online contribution now or send a check and know that your gift allows the House to only ask the families for $10 per night with no family ever turned away due to an inability to pay.

Please make out checks to Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area. Our mailing address is:

Ronald McDonald House at Stanford
Attn: Finance
520 Sand Hill Road
Palo Alto, CA 94304

Recurring Donations

Recuring donations help us plan for future expenditures and provide greater security for our families. Recurring donations are easy to set up online.

Matching Gifts

Many businesses and organizations offer to match their employees' charitable donations. Check with your HR or benefits department for details.

Estate Bestowment

Estate gifts link you powerfully and permanently to the work of Ronald McDonald House at Stanford.

Gifts of Stock

Gifts of Stock are determined by taking the mean of the high and the low value of the security on the day that it is credited to the Ronald McDonald House account or the day that the certificate is in the custody of the House with a gift letter and an executed stock power.
